Petrel Production Engineer is designed to integrate the multitude of interpreted data across disciplines to guide field development decisions. This profile is tailored for production engineers to perform decline curve analysis, production mapping and monitoring from the Petrel platform, with access to simulation models for history matching. Production engineer can create different strategies for well and well completion construction, injection/production strategies, and manage fluids that are in place and injected from the surface.

The workspace is linked to the ECLIPSE industry reference reservoir simulator, INTERSECT high-resolution reservoir simulator, and ECLIPSE FrontSim streamline simulator, which enable production engineers to evaluate and re-evaluate the implications of development decisions in the reservoir model.

Designed to give production logging engineers access to production log analysis and interpretation, the Techlog platform is the ideal environment to bring all core data together for calibration and interpretation alongside wireline and Logging While Drilling (LWD) data.

FluidModeler (FLM) uses guided workflows in a modern, user-friendly interface to make fluid science from Schlumberger accessible. FLM is designed to model standard pressure volume temperature (PVT) laboratory measurements and evaluate gas miscibility with reservoir fluids. It offers rigorous model-tuning capabilities for multiple fluids with rigorous optimization techniques. This ensures that the best fluid models are developed in a reproducible manner every time. In addition, FLM has a fluid model audit trail system where all the development stages of the model are accessible, and easily comparable within the same interface.
