GeoX exploration risk and resource assessment software provides easy-to-use and scalable decision support for risk, resource, and economic evaluation of exploration projects and portfolios. The analytical foundation is a common stochastic modeling framework that enables GeoX software to support a broad range of exploration decision-support workflows. Working over a shared, secure relational database, the software both facilitates and promotes effective collaboration among geoscientists, engineers, and economists.
The service packs for GeoX 6.0 (6.0.2896), 6.1 (6.1.0.1166), and 6.2 (6.2.452) solve some issues that have been identified since the release of the main versions. A summary list of the fixes implemented follows.
It is recommended that any user who is currently using GeoX 6.2 or an older version of GeoX software should install the GeoX 6.2 service pack. It is recommended practice to always make a backup before installing a new service pack.
All new installations should use this latest version.
