GeoFrame Retirement Announcement

Customer Support Statement

Wednesday, 01 January 2020

In line with previous Schlumberger notifications issued to our customers, we confirm that on December 31, 2019 GeoFrame reservoir characterization software ceased to be a supported software product. To those companies that have supported the GeoFrame software over its long history, we offer profound thanks and gratitude. Your commitment to our software has enabled the entire industry to consistently move forward and improve performance.

We decided to retire the GeoFrame software in order to allow greater investments in more modern reservoir characterization solutions, giving our customers increased capabilities through our other industry leading software platforms and technology solutions.

All outstanding contractual obligations to you and your company will continue to be fulfilled. For those who are still to migrate their GeoFrame software to the relevant Schlumberger technology platform, we are here to assist you to ensure the process is completed successfully. We will help you to streamline the data migration process and offer a true turnkey solution in case you would like to migrate your GeoFrame software projects to the Petrel E&P software platform. Please contact your Schlumberger account manager for more information.

By retiring GeoFrame we streamline our existing technology offerings, clearly positioning our products in the marketplace, and allow our customers to retain the value of their investment in our solutions.
