The Techlog Production Logging module enables you to perform a complete production logging workflow, from raw acquisition data to interpreted zonal flow rates to yield information about the type and movement of fluids within and near the wellbore. It uses the powerful visualization of the Techlog wellbore software platform and integrates production log measurements with other modules on the Techlog platform to perform a comprehensive cased hole evaluation. This in turn enables the user to optimize well and reservoir performance during the asset life cycle and advises on the intervention solutions.
The module utilizes an extensive library of fluid PVT correlations and industry-leading flow-assurance science from the OLGA dynamic multiphase flow simulator. It includes comprehensive spinner calibration with automatic and manual control over thresholds and slopes. Multisensor array tools, including FloScan Imager horizontal and deviated well production logging system, are supported along with display on cross-section plots.
Spinner calibration is one of the most important processing features in the Techlog Production Logging workflow. It should be simple to use and easy to interact. This version focuses on improving the usability of the workflow by merging the steps of the workflow. The last version had three steps to complete the spinner calibration workflow. In 2020.1, the three steps are merged into single step called spinner velocity. This workflow includes a lot of interactivity between the calibration table and the plot. The effect of calibration can be directly accessed on apparent velocity. Updates also include upgraded Python from 2.7 to 3.6 for all the Python workflows.
Techlog Production Logging is suitable for geoscientists and engineers, including petrophysicists, geologists, reservoir engineers, and production engineers.
The plug-in enables users to integrate production logging data with other petrophysical and geological information in the Techlog wellbore software platform.
