New Software Release

Techlog 2014.1 Now available

Product Details

The Techlog wellbore software platform brings wellbore-centric, cross-domain workflows to different disciplines: petrophysics (core & log), geology, geophysics, drilling, and reservoir and production engineering. The Techlog platform offers a tightly integrated environment to process your wellbore data and deliver results.

Release Details

Techlog 2014.1 delivers a step change in performance and scalability, as well as a wide range of new features and improvements throughout the system. The Techlog platform provides an integrated and extensible modern architecture that empowers productivity across all well-related workflows—from petrophysics, to geophysics, to engineering. The 2014.1 release brings enhanced levels of performance to the desktop environment, which improves the user experience by delivering data and analysis faster than ever before. The Techlog platform efficiently orchestrates not only data, but also interdisciplinary workflows across the E&P lifecycle. This new release adds functionality to expand the borehole offering on the Techlog platform and simplifies the administration of a multitude of complex data types to reduce turnaround time and data transfer.

The new Cement and Pipe Integrity module provides workflows to accomplish the all-important task of evaluating the cement quality for every cement job during well construction. During the subsequent producing (or injecting) life of a well, time-lapse inspection runs can provide detailed views of the quality of the pipe and help decide when key workover intervention may become necessary.

To provide the information and understanding necessary to improve completion strategy in shale reservoirs, the Techlog platform brings essential analytical capabilities to the user in a themed program offering. It provides a focused solution to help improve turnaround time for analysis results and provide geomechanical input to completion strategy.

Techlog Shale, released within the context of Techlog 2014.1, is a bundling of pre-existing licenses that enables the client to focus on key workflows. The group of modules allows the user to concentrate on formation evaluation for the geomechanical and petrophysical reservoir characteristics that are the foremost requirements for engineering completions to improve their efficiency.
