Product overview

OMNI 3D seismic survey design software is the industry standard for seismic survey design and modeling. Plan, execute, and analyze land, marine, transition zone, vertical seismic profile (VSP), and multicomponent surveys. The intuitive interface and versatile multiproject handling capability of the software enable users to quickly and effectively analyze and monitor their seismic acquisition projects. OMNI 3D 2019 delivers a range of enhancements and improvements related to project projection, survey design, usability, productivity, and reliability.

  • Datum and projection system enhancements
    • Upgrades to the OMNI 3D software projection system
    • Includes numerous new datums, projection systems, and European Petroleum Survey Group (EPSG) codes
    • Defines projection system using geographic (latitude/longitude)
    • Uses faster and more precise point and image reprojections
    • Automatically sets and displays projection system shifts and rotations to WGS84 for the existing ellipsoid

    • Applies the inflate operation to all visible obstacles or detours

    • Adds more functionality to the Survey Production Timing simulator

    • Increases precision of SPS writes for eastings, northings, and attribute values
  • Station symbol display size and line display
    • Increases the station symbol display size and line display width range to a minimum of 1e-06.
  • Station selections
    • Includes capability for you to invert station selections to quickly select all other stations that are not part of the current selection in the station selection wizard
