The Ocean software development framework gives oil and gas companies the freedom to create advantage by building or integrating specialized technologies and workflows directly inside Schlumberger software platforms, including the Petrel E&P software platform and Studio E&P knowledge environment.
With this new release, the Ocean framework continues to support the Petrel extensibility strategy by doubling the number of domains supported—Mocking Framework, Microseismic, Multi-Z, and Shale have all been added since the last release.

Ocean Partners are working on the upgrade of their plug-ins. More than 600 plug-ins have been created and more than 120 plug-ins are commercial and distributed via the Ocean Store.
