Do you want to streamline the creation of result requests for Merak Capital Planning and Petroleum Financials? You can now create deterministic and stochastic requests within Merak Peep. This enhances the workflow by allowing you to stay within the same application, including using the navigation pane in Merak Peep to select cases and consolidations. The latest iteration of Merak Time Series, which is within Merak Results Broker, can now be accessed through the Merak Administration Console as the Merak Variable Mappings module. This module provides additional functionalities for exporting and importing mappings between different databases.
Scenarios for currency documents help you switch between different currency scenarios, such as exchange rates and inflation rates. You can analyze the outcome at the case level without making changes in corporate documents, such as model and currency documents.
The Multiple Sales Streams (MSS) feature addresses a common practice in the oil and gas industry, whereby production volumes of a single product are broken down into individual streams, especially for gas projects. These streams represent production that is being allocated to various sales contracts. Each contract can specify its own production, production attributes, price, operational cost rate, operational cost target, and revenue targets. Merak 2017.1 adds an additional feature to MSS to enable users to add scenarios to the streams. In this way, you can perform advanced economic analysis such as risk, sensitivities, and portfolio management.
The Merak Peep data browser plug-in now supports metric and imperial units and small, medium, and large unit scales. The data browser plug-in can also be used to visualize results of consolidation documents, case documents and well documents.
You don’t have to recreate your analysis in your plans. Now you can automatically store it with the plan for automatic retrieval when you reopen a saved plan.
You can now visualize your annual data correctly summed, as per the fiscal end month as a new feature for Merak Capital Planning in Merak 2017.1.
Peep reports can now be exported to Microsoft Excel (xlsx) format. With this feature, you can export more than 256 columns to Excel.
