Seismic Survey Design plug-in (SSD) is a powerful 3D survey design tool fully integrated into the Petrel environment. This Petrel plugin allows you to plan, edit, execute, and analyze land, marine OBC and VSP. You may also import/export data in various formats and use OMNI Connect to import surveys designed in OMNI 3D software. The SSD plug-in allows you to define various acquisition geometries such as 3D narrow, wide, multi- and full azimuth. In addition, the SSD plug-in offers the tools needed to analyze and review survey attributes and display them as colored maps including fold, minimum and maximum offset. Rose diagrams, spider diagrams, and offset and azimuth bin redundancy charts allow you to QC statistics and parameters about your designs. Use SSD plug-in scripts to address specific imaging challenges through ray-tracing using the Ray Tracing and Illumination plug-in which is available as part of the Earth Model Building (EMB) bundle.
