This update concerns the use of CIP_DIFF. The CIP_DIFF SFM reads the residual moveout picks generated by the CIP_PICK SFM. It uses this information, along with VOLCAN model and dip field data, to generate differential terms in residual migration equations via ray tracing. The equations describe the relationship between the residual moveout on the depth migrated gathers and changes in velocity and/or anisotropy in the VOLCAN model.
