When working in sandstone or fractured reservoirs it may be difficult to predict reservoir geometry, understand sandbody and fracture orientation, or ascertain a fracture seal or conduit. In such cases, however, image logs may be used to optimize production, model a reservoir, or plan future wells.
In this four day engagement Schlumberger experts will work with small teams to demonstrate how they can effectively build workflows that optimize the use of their domain knowledge to generate the best possible fracture analysis and plan for future wells. Participants will learn how to use image logs and dip information for high-resolution sanbody prediction and fracture characterization. The resulting workflows can be used to build, augment or condition reservoir models with well-level geological details and accuracy.
